(More customer reviews)I am not one to read a nutrition book, but after seeing the doctor talk about the book on Rachael Ray, I decided to give it a try. I HIGHLY recommend this book, if you're not one that gets into all the scientific data and jargon that tends to fill so many of the nutrition books; If you want a book that just gets to the basic points of healthy eating that you might not know, and gives you a concise, quick summary of how to achieve healthy eating goals, then this is THE BOOK! I couldn't believe how informative it was without all the extra junk that nobody understands or pays attention to. This is practical life application information on how to eat better. With simple food lists summarizing whats at the top of the list in terms of the healthiest choices to make and it's all the stuff you really need to pay attention to at the grocery store and everyday stuff. This book was very motivational and encouraging to get me and my family started on healthier eating choices. And I understand better the WHY's of many topics such as carbs/whole grains/proteins/etc. that I just thought I knew before. This book is just simply good for you.
