(More customer reviews)I know of only one truly ketogenic diet for healthy people, the one by Lyle McDonald's Ketogenic Diet: a Complete Guide for the Dieter and Practitioner - it used to be bodybuilders' Bible. However, The Banta Diet: A diet mobilizing the fat burning biochemical pathway. 92 % success rate since 2002 was useful for my everyday life while Lyle's book, though enlightened me tremendously, missed those little details that a weak dieter needs: the know how. I found it so much handier to be able to hold the book and not read the plans from my computer's screen.

Banta Diet plan, tried by over 1300 participants since 2002, yielded satisfactory and lasting weight loss. The program is based on the scientific fact that different combinations of macro-nutrients -- carbohydrates, fats, and proteins -- tend to trigger one of two different metabolic pathways.
